The true hawks are medium-sized birds of prey that usually belong to the genus Accipiter. They are mainly woodland birds that hunt by sudden dashes from a concealed perch. They usually have long tails for tight steering.

Derek Finnegan
CEO and Co-founder
Derek has over 17 years’ experience in the media intelligence industry and was a partner in the setup of MediaMarket in 2002, the first digital media monitoring offering in Ireland and revolutionised the market. The company was acquired by WPP and rebranded several times. Derek worked as operations director in Ireland and at European level until 2016 before founding Truehawk Media in 2017.
Peter Fyffe-McFadden
Executive Director and Co-founder
Peter has 13 years’ experience in media intelligence services. He was the regional manager of MediaMarket’s Belfast office which opened in 2006 and went on to become market leader. In 2016, he took ownership of NIMMS which is now a leading media intelligence company in Northern Ireland. Peter co-founded Truehawk Media in 2017.
Shannon Rushe
Sales & Marketing Director
Shannon has five years’ experience specifically within media intelligence from five years at MediaMarket from 2003. She most recently worked as account director at creative agency McCann Dublin and previously in sponsorship consultancy Onside. Shannon is a seasoned marketing professional with considerable strategic communications experience covering roles across media evaluation, sponsorship strategy and creative marketing.
